MISSION STATEMENT

Whether constructing buildings
or strengthening families,
the Urban Enterprise Association
has been a partner with the
City of Hammond for many
productive years.
Improving the quality of life
for Hammond’s zone residents
has been a priority for the UEA.
Beautifying neighborhoods,
funding educational and social
activities providing grant
opportunities, and stimulating
the city’s capital investments
are all hallmarks of the Urban
Enterprise Association’s definition.

Without a doubt, the Enterprise Zone
increases employment opportunities,
reduces poverty, and furnishes
Incentives that compliment zone
businesses which ultimately makes
Hammond a better place
to live, work, and grow.
